Q1: What does "Full-Sealed Welding" mean for a PTFE paddle?
A1: Many cheap PTFE stirrers are simply coated over a steel rod, leaving microscopic pinholes or gaps where the blade attaches. “Full-Sealed Welding” means the PTFE material is seamlessly fused together. This completely eliminates any pores, preventing highly corrosive acids from seeping inside and rusting the inner metal core.
Q2: Why is PTFE better than stainless steel for mixing?
A2: While stainless steel is strong, it can still react with highly aggressive chemicals like concentrated hydrochloric acid or aqua regia, leading to metallic contamination in your sample. Pure PTFE (Teflon) is one of the most chemically inert substances on earth, meaning it will absolutely never react with your chemical solutions.
Q3: Is this stirring paddle safe to use in a vacuum flask?
