High Voltage Probe, 100MHz 1:100 Attenuation for Oscilloscope by Professional Series
Ensuring dependable accuracy during daily operations requires professional equipment engineered to withstand demanding laboratory and industrial environments. The High Voltage Probe, 100MHz 1:100 Attenuation for Oscilloscope (T3100) by Xin Tester provides verified stability, user-friendly operation, and certified safety compliance across standard maintenance protocols. Discover our complete line of diagnostic and testing instruments in the Oscilloscope Instrument catalog.
Trigger Flexibility
Advanced edge, pulse width, video, and slope trigger modes isolate intermittent glitches and timing jitter across digital communication buses.
Bright High-Res Display
Multi-color TFT LCD screen with grid graticule displays multiple channel traces, trigger levels, and automatic parameter measurements clearly.

Engineering Insight: Bandwidth Rules & Sampling Ratios
To capture signal rise times accurately without amplitude attenuation, oscilloscope bandwidth should be at least 3 to 5 times higher than the fundamental clock frequency under test.
Ordering & Model Verification
Confirm bandwidth (MHz), channel count, and built-in function generator options before configuring your unit in the right-side panel.

FAQs
Q1: Can I use this high voltage probe with any brand of oscilloscope?
A1: Yes. The T3100 probe is designed with an industry-standard BNC connector. It is fully compatible with virtually all international brands of digital and analog oscilloscopes that support a 100MΩ input impedance and a 1:100 attenuation ratio.
Q2: What does the 1:100 attenuation ratio actually mean?
A2: It means the probe reduces the incoming voltage signal by a factor of 100 before delivering it to your oscilloscope. For example, if you probe a 1000V signal, the oscilloscope will only receive a safe 10V input, protecting the internal circuitry of your expensive testing equipment from overload.
Q3: How do I adjust the compensation on this probe?
A3: The probe features a compensation adjustment screw with a range of 15pF to 35pF. You simply connect the probe to your oscilloscope’s standard square-wave calibration terminal and use a non-conductive screwdriver to adjust the screw until the square wave is perfectly flat with sharp 90-degree corners.
Q4: Is it safe to measure main AC power lines with this device?
A4: Yes, provided the absolute voltage does not exceed the maximum rating of 2000VDC + Peak AC. However, working with high voltages is inherently dangerous. You must always follow proper electrical safety protocols, ensure you are properly grounded, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during live testing.
